1. Warm up your muscles
To begin with, the first thing to do is warm up the muscles of the face. To do this, you must stand in front of the mirror and slowly gesture the vowels: A, E, I, O, U. You can take a minute per vowel or repeat the entire set several times until you feel a certain heat on your face.
2. Chin up
Let’s sit up straight and bring our head back, keeping our chin up. We hold the posture for a minute and slowly lower the chin, stop before touching the chest and bring the head back again.
A variant of this exercise is to stick out the lower lip (like pouting) while bringing the head back and then forward. Hold the pose for 5-10 seconds.
3. Hold position
In this exercise to slim the face, what we have to do is sit up straight and stretch the neck, as much as you can, upwards while stretching the lips horizontally (like a kind of surprised grimace).
When we see that we reach the limit of the neck stretch, we take a deep breath and count 15 seconds. Finally, we return to the starting position and repeat everything 5 more times.

4. Write our name
Another of the exercises to slim the face is simply to hold a pencil with your lips and try to write your own name in the air, backwards and forwards.

5. Lips and cheeks
To do this exercise we will have to inhale deeply. Then we will press our lips and puff our cheeks.
We place our hands on the cheeks, so that the fingers cover the ears. Then we begin to put pressure on the cheeks to tighten the muscles.
We must try to make the maximum possible effort to maintain the position for 5 or 6 seconds, then relax and rest for a minute. We will have to repeat this exercise 5 or 6 times to achieve our goal of slimming the face.
The following exercise consists of closing the mouth and holding the teeth with both the upper and lower lips. We should try to move the lower jaw slightly forward.
We place the index finger on the chin and try to overcome the resistance exerted by the finger. We will use the muscles of the face, pressing the chin. We will have to relax and tense the muscles. We repeat 10 times.
7. Chin cuffs
This exercise is one of the most important. This is the last and most difficult of the series of eight exercises designed to strengthen the muscles under the tongue and jaw.
To carry it out, we will place two cuffs under the chin. Then we will have to support with the tongue in the area below it near the teeth.
We will exert pressure with our fists upwards and we will use force, as a kind of resistance with the tongue. We will maintain the tension for 30 seconds. Then we will try to relax the muscles for 5 seconds. We repeat everything about 10 times.
8. Exercise your neck muscles
Yes, although it is an exercise for the neck muscles, it does not hurt to include it in our routine to slim the face since it helps to better define the contour. In fact, it becomes part of many yoga routines.
To carry it out, we will tilt our head to the right and try to reach the shoulder with our ear, always keeping our back straight. At the same time, we will place our right hand on the left temple to try to prevent us from reaching the shoulder with the ear.
It is not necessary to use force. The exercise should be done firmly but without causing pain. Finally, we must maintain the posture for 10 seconds and repeat as many times as we want.
